Rostered to play on the same bill led to a whiz-bang meeting of two minds for ex-Holloways frontman Alfie Jackson and singer/songwriter Gemma Rogers.
Collaborating as Two – the duo are set to release debut single ‘Angels’, 14th December, hotly followed by a 5-track EP ‘Great Expectations’ in January.
Describing themselves as telling modern stories through Dickensian eyes, you clearly find this in ‘Angels’ – which would fit perfectly within the Dickens collection ‘Sketches by Boz’.
With this wetting your appetite be sure to catch Two at their official launch gig, Friday 14th December – The Empire Bar, Hackney Empire. They’ll be joined by Dub poet Roger Robinson.
