Early next year ‘Rising Star’ is set to hit Saturday Night ITV and the call is out for singers around the UK to take part.

Rising Star is a talent show with a difference; the voting happens in real time by the audience at home via a smartphone app making it truly interactive.

The show is currently being broadcast in over 25 territories – here’s a clip from the US version to give you an idea:

The show will also let you perform your own songs and the winner gets a record deal with a major label.
