Back in October 2015 Juliette Ashby, singer/songwriter and childhood best friend of the late Amy Winehouse, spoke out for the first time on national TV about the pain she went through in losing her closest friend.

In the emotional interview recorded for BBC Breakfast, Juliette also spoke about being approached to help make the documentary ‘Amy‘ by BAFTA award winning Director Asif Kapadia and her reservations in doing so.

However the film turned out beautifully and has been nominated for Best Documentary 2016 in the National Film Awards.

If you’ve yet to see the documentary ‘Amy‘ it’s available to buy now on DVD.
