
Saturday 1st June and Inner City Electronic returns to Leeds for a massive 24hr Festival.
Headlined by Russian DJ Nina Kraviz, the city will see 11 leading venues, which includes Brudenell Social Club, Church Leeds, Distrikt, Freedom Mills and The Wardrobe, open their doors to showcase a range of master classes, industry talks, parties and more.
Other artists to perform throughout the day are Nightmares on Wax, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Ben UFO and DJ Stingray among others.
Joanne Armitage (Algobabez) and Alex McLean (Yaxu/CCAI) discuss Algorave – a global movement focused on creating dance music through the writing and editing of algorithms.
Bluedot presents a discussion from Mark Ayres and Caro C on Delia Derbyshire for her pioneering work on the BBC during the 1960’s.
Artist development panels: ‘DJ & Producer Launchpad’ – featuring both artists and leading industry professionals is designed to assist aspiring artists in every aspect of the industry including ‘Getting Signed’, ‘Building Your Audience’, ‘Do It Yourself’, ‘Management’, ‘Getting Gigs’, with bookable One-to-One Sessions with 2019 panelists Mark Newton (Printworks/Canal Mills), Sarah Frenchy (Artist Manager, Grade Management), Kazim Rashid (Artist Manager, Nightmares on Wax), Ollie Seaman, Tom Grainger (Artist Agent), Brudenell Groove, Brotherhood, Bobby Connolly (Fabric, Needs), Tristan Da Cunha / Will Orchard (Bluedot, From The Fields), Freddie Sugden (Loose Lips), Marcos Sanchez (Mass), Gina Donohoe, Mary-Kate Reynolds (Rising Digital).
