Head of YouTube Originals, Luke Hyams has spoken to Music Week about controversial new Documentary, Terms and Conditions: A UK Drill Story.

Released today, the documentary lifts the lid on Drill music, which has long been associated with gangs and violence.

Featuring contributions from families who have lost loved ones through violence, Police, Lawyers and also artists from the scene, the documentary digs deep to understand the scene.

“Doing this gave us the opportunity to give some of the most interesting young artists in the drill scene an opportunity to talk about their lives and the things that are really important to them…Drill is a real art form and launch pad to help artists build a career and express themselves. At the same time, we hope that artists and creatives also learn more about the need to understand the power of their words and actions. We hope this documentary brings forward productive discussion across communities, artists, law enforcement and Government who have a stake in this issue and that they walk away with a deeper understanding of the issues.” Luke Hyams talking to Music Week.
