Radio 1’s Live Lounge has always been a space to see your favourite artist(s) perform something a little different, a space where as a receiver you might discover someone you haven’t thought about before – now Radio 1 and BBC Introducing are offering that chance to one lucky undiscovered artist to share that stage.
Launching on Saturday 13th March 2021, artists will be allowed to submit their best track for review by industry alumni and experts. Judges will whittle down entrants to five before announcing the one lucky winner, who will perform on Clara Amfo’s show later this year.
- Entrants must be 16 years or over
- From the UK
- Must not have been a credited performer on a track which had BBC national radio play across BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, Radio 3, 6 Music, Asian Network. If the only national radio play you have had to date is on a BBC Music Introducing show then you may enter.
