Back for another year is MOBO Unsung a dynamic artist development programme to nuture the next generation of music stars.
Formally only presenting the opportunity to one lucky winner, this year the programme is set to support 10 of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists! Former alumni include Jacob Banks, Tion Wayne, Tiana Major9 and Graft.
Artists selected for the MOBO Unsung programme will receive 12 months of comprehensive mentorship and A&R support designed to enhance their artistic skills and marketability. In addition to this, they will be afforded invaluable networking opportunities with industry professionals and peers, which can lead to collaborative projects and potential breakthroughs in their careers. Furthermore, participants will be able to showcase their talent through live performance opportunities at various events, allowing them to connect with audiences and gain exposure. The programme also includes access to state-of-the-art studio time to refine their music production and recording techniques, enabling them to create high-quality tracks that truly represent their unique sound. All of this, coupled with additional resources and guidance, ensures that emerging artists can navigate the competitive music industry with confidence and creativity.
