Previously known as the English Folk Expo Artist Mentoring Programme, Sound Roots is now looking for applicants to apply for their 2025/26 programme.
The programme which began in 2018, is an intensive pathway designed to support the early career stage of artists from a folk, roots and acoustic background.
Over 12 months, participants will explore key areas of the music industry, enhancing their awareness, expanding their networks, and tailoring a strategy to their business needs. By the end, they will understand the sector’s roles and responsibilities, have established contacts in the industry, and created a clear career roadmap.
