Jazz revived at the Love Supreme Festival

July 2013 is set to become renowned as the ‘Summer of Love’ when a host of major artists descend upon the grounds of Glynde Place, Sussex, for the Love Supreme Jazz Festival.

The festival, presented by Jazz FM in partnership with Neapolitan Music, Ingenious Medias Entertainment and Serious, brings to you 3 days of glorious music in the picturesque village of Glynde, 5th to 7th July 2013.

It’s the first of its kind in over 2 decades and promises to be nothing short of world-class, with sounds for the general music lover to the downright serious lovers of Jazz and Blues. The Love Supreme Festival will feature something for everyone!

Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra have been confirmed as the headline act on the 7th, which will include a special performance with Ruby Turner.

Other confirmed acts are Marcus Miller – widely respected composer and bassist known for his association with the legendary Miles Davis, Grammy Award winner Branford Marsalis with his Quartet, Neil Cowley – whose trio band were winners of the BBC Jazz Award best album of 2007 and Alto-Saxophonist Soweto Kinch – a vibrant artist covering styles in Jazz and Hip-hop. More artists will be confirmed over the coming months.

Festival Director and MD of Neapolitan Music, Ciro Romano said “We wanted to be able to provide a quality experience, where at one cost there would be a massive variety of jazz music on offer.” and that’s exactly what they’ve done – just one ticket will provide event goers with access to all 4 music stages, which includes a unique green-field festival indoor floored and seated stage.

The festival also provides Camping for those not wanting to miss one minute of the action, Food from around the world, Chill-out zones and Family friendly activities.
