is back with a sparkling line-up

Music Connex Live flyerTake five fine artists, a room full of music industry professionals and you have another exciting event put on by MusicConnex, this time at the Flyover, Portabello, London.

MusicConnex, founded by Jon Mansfield was set up to encourage artists to take control of their careers, share ideas and inspire others through their networking events. “MusicConnex Live aims to support independent artists. The focus of our events is on providing wider exposure through Marketing and PR support…A new culture is emerging, full of self-motivated, enterprising, creative and innovative music professionals with incredible talent. MusicConnex wants to help facilitate, inspire and empower them to realise their ambitions and dreams.”

Artists on the night include; Al Castellana – Italian singer-songwriter and producer who fuses Soul music with almost every other music genre to great effect, Giovanca – raised on the music of Dionne Warwick and Minnie Ripperton, this sister has a way with words that really draws in her audience, Ayanna Witter-Johnson – an English folk and Soul singer, songwriter and cellist who was nominated for a MOBO Award in 2012, Debra Debs – whose music tends to impart either socio-conscious messages or poetic enchantments for those with a weakness for describing seduction And Tony Momrelle – one of the UK’s most exciting soulful singer-songwriters whose first major musical encounter was with the legendary Gloria Estefan!Since then he’s gone on to work with Incognito, Gary Barlow, Sir Elton John, the late Whitney Houston and more recently Sade.
