Platinum-selling, Denver outfit, The Lumineers, have sold out their upcoming UK tour in less than a day with over 10,000 tickets sold in less than 24 hours. Eager UK fans have helped make this the band’s quickest UK ticket sales to date, selling out massive venues across the country including a headline set at London’s O2 Brixton Academy.
This news continues what is already a storming year for The Lumineers who recently announced their eagerly-awaited second album ‘Cleopatra’ – the follow-up to their multi-Grammy-nominated, self-titled debut.
Fans will no doubt be treated to songs from the new album on the upcoming tour including new single ‘Ophelia’ which recently received a stunning music video, a moving homage to Singin’ In The Rain.
