Earlier this month Danish producer Slowolf dropped the single and title track from his latest EP ‘White Feathers’ featuring Kimbra.
I love how this EP takes the listener on a journey through the various stages of rap music.
As the ‘White Feathers’ intro opens with the rolling drums, sax and bass of its title track, Slowolf begins with a taster of Hip-hop in ‘Palace’ with UK rapper Dream Mclean before moving onto a Trip-hop vibe in ‘The Ring’ ft rising US rap star Pell. Next comes the Grime – ‘Trya Thing’ ft Scrufizzer before ending Futuristic Hip-hop track ‘White Feathers’ featuring Kimbra.
