Given up by her mother and never knowing her father, Kitt was raised by her aunt in Harlem.

Although she had a difficult childhood due to being of mixed heritage, Kitt was eventually discovered by Orson Welles and so her beautiful story began.

The biography told through an interview between Eartha’s daughter Kitt Shapiro and interviewee and executive producer Ann Nyberg is a must watch.
