He was once part of bad-boy indie-rock outfit The Holloways but how life seems to be mellowing for former member Alfie Jackson.
Now taking a more laid back and philosophical approach to his writing, evident in previous release ‘The Last Holiday’ and now with follow up single ‘I Guess That’s Love These Days’ – a solemn sepia tale of wistful woe.
Think, The Moody Blues and you’ll get the nostalgic, sixties direction in which Alfie’s music flows – a far cry from the ‘Happiness and Penniless’ rifts his fans will remember and love.
Personally I love this new serene and conscious direction Alfie Jackson has taken, but am I being lulled into a false sense of security and his next single be a crash bang wallop of a hit? we’ll have to wait and see!
For now, go and download his beautiful new single ‘I Guess That’s Love These Days’ via
iTunes, Google Play or Amazon
