If you’re heading out to Ibiza make sure you take a gander at brand-new superclub Hi Ibiza formerly known as Space
Glitterbox will be launching its Ibiza 2017 season at brand-new superclub Hï Ibiza on Friday 9 June.
Hï Ibiza by Ushuaïa Entertainment, the club formerly known as Space, has been transformed into a state of the art venue with the most advanced sound and technology on the island and is this year’s must-go-to clubbing destination.
The Glitterbox 2017 Opening Party on 9 June features one of the biggest starting line-ups in Ibiza. Headliners Armand Van Helden, David Morales, Dimitri From Paris, and Todd Terry will be joined by Glitterbox’s founder and resident DJ Simon Dunmore and Ibiza legend DJ Pippi, plus a very special live PA from Barbara Tucker (returning to Glitterbox Ibiza after her now legendary performance in 2016).
Every Friday from June till 29 September (except 4 August), Glitterbox will transform Hï Ibiza with its biggest production and line-ups to date, plus the now legendary Glitterbox dancers and performers.
Each weekly extravaganza will feature an expertly crafted mix of contemporary and classic disco and house by house music luminaries and underground talent, including Masters At Work, Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez, Joey Negro, Kings of Tomorrow, The Shapeshifters and Mousse T.
“We chose Hï for Glitterbox’s Ibiza residency because it is an incredible proposition. It’s the new hot spot on the island. The people involved totally believe in the Glitterbox concept, which is still unique to the island.” Simon Dunmore “Every Friday you can expect an event with an extrovert personality – an extravaganza! A party that screams “good times”. It’s where people come together to celebrate incredible dance music from across the decades, provided by DJs that know how to rock the discotheque. It’s flamboyant, spiritual and hedonistic. The ultimate dancefloor escape.”
Glitterbox is renowned as one of the world’s most flamboyant, hedonistic, and inclusive parties, where the DJs who are true masters of their craft lay down a soundtrack spanning 40 years of joyful, uplifting disco and house.
Decadent dancers, highly creative performers and open-minded, passionate crowd encompassing all ages, colours, genders and sexual orientations enhance the unrivaled feel-good clubbing experience.
