The Other Side of Blue – new single by Tom Baxter

Tom Baxter by Mike TinneyIt’s been a decade since Tom Baxter released ‘Skybound’ and now he’s back with new single, The Other Side of Blue’ taken from his forth-coming album of the same name.

Exploring the dark interim between albums, ‘The Other Side of Blue’ is an open letter full of melancholy, which sees Tom pour his heart out over the ivories.

Speaking about his dip from the spot-light a tight lipped Tom describes his journey to the album creation as a slow metamorphosis, one which has seen him become calmer.

That certainly shows in the first release and subsequent follow-up ‘Ballad of Davey Graham’ a song which he penned in tribute to the late artist whom he greatly admired.

‘The Other Side of Blue’ album by Tom Baxter is set for release 17 August 2018 after which he’ll embark on a 31 date UK & Ireland Tour.
