Review: Mampi Swift ft Juliette Ashby – Come With Me

Towards the end of 2019 Drum n Bass veteran Mampi Swift released LP Victory Rose – Chapter One.

A decade in the making this labour of love quickly climbed the DnB charts to the coveted number one spot and it’s not hard to understand why.

Featuring high-octane pulse injections like Freebass, One Finger, Gangster, Massacre, and highly-sort after remasters of Rebirth and Hi-Tek, Mampi showcases his deep roots in the origin of the sound. But there are two notable tracks on the album which could see a turn in direction for the underground artist – Touch Me ft Hannah Bradbeer and Come With Me ft Juliette Ashby.

With Mampi dropping firey particles of synth that combust into a mass of dirty bass, Juliette rides the anthem like a siren calling from the depths of the furnace – lulling you in, making you hit the rewind.

Perhaps one of the more commercially viable tracks on the album, Come With Me was quickly picked up by double Guinness World Record holder Skip Beatz, who laid the track down to one of his work-out promo videos.

But don’t just take the Musicvein word for it, Victory Rose can be listened to/downloaded from all major platforms – go Check It Out!
