Take It Over by Juliette Ashby

Juliette AshbyTonight Juliette Ashby takes to the stage at the Jazz Cafe Camden to showcase her brand new EP ‘Take It Over’.

The 5 track ‘amuse-bouche’ EP tantalizes the eardrums and leaves the listener eagerly scavenging the net in hope of finding more gems from this songstress.

A mixture of Reggae and RnB, this EP – little as it may be – packs a real punch! Produced by heavyweight producers Jazzwad – who’s worked with Damien Marley, Bounty Killer and Elephant Man – and Alan Glass whose credits include Aretha Franklin, Earth Wind & Fire and George Benson among others, you’ll be rocking along to each and every track.

With songs penned from lessons learnt in life ‘No Regrets‘ and lustful adventures ‘Drop A Baby‘, ‘Like a Bass Guitar‘ Juliette’s sassy lyrics give you a small insight into her incredible writing ability. ‘Take It Over‘ perhaps the more mainstream of all the songs will have Radio Dj’s fighting over becoming the first to play this track, it’s feisty and empowering, a song that certainly unleashes the inner rude girl in every woman – “I be roaring like the tiger that be chasing the bear…nothings gonna shake me, nothings gonna break me” she sings.

‘Take it Over’ is due for official release on October 6th but if you want to get your hands on an early bird copy, join Juliette at the Jazz Cafe Camden tonight!
