Review: Fools Eyes by Healyum

I get very excited on a daily basis when new music hits my inbox and even more so when I discover a gem of a track that I just can’t wait to share with Musicvein readers!

This weeks song comes from a Bedfordshire band called Healyum, their debut song ‘Fools Eyes’ quickly being snatched up by Radio X, BBC Introducing and Radio 1.

‘Fools Eyes’ is dark, instantly gripping you in its dreamlike state, while lead singer Jeaná Healy (only 15 years old I might add) sings of being love blind and losing yourself in another person. With a distinctive voice like Delilah and kind of Shakespears Sisters in mood – I’m betting Healyum (Jeaná, Kate and Jed Healy accompanied by guitarist Nathanael Degning and bassist Pip Benjamin) will go on to great things in 2016! Watch this space.

‘Fools Eyes’ will be released 11th December, which they’ll launch at Holy Moly’s, Esquires, Bedford.
